Tournament Committee
12th Annual Memorial University Scholarship Golf Tournament
Scotiabank is Memorial’s major partner in the event
which is organized by a volunteer Operations Committee comprised of
retired and current faculty/staff members of the University as well
as bank executives.
Len Butt, Credit Solutions Manager, and Bill Bavis, Client Relationship Manger, for Commercial Banking, Scotiabank (Newfoundland and Labrador), are the chairpersons for this event.
The Committee is comprised of Bill Bavis, Len Butt, Mike
Callahan, Carolyn Harley, Peter Harley, Carol Hawco, Dave Kirkland,
Peter Morris, Michael Pickard, Bill Redden (Coordinator), and Wayne
Rose.
Memorial's major partner for the tournament is Scotiabank (Commercial Banking). The major sponsor is Provincial Aerospace Ltd. Scotiabank assists in the recruiting of participating teams, provides a subsidy for the luncheon associated with the event, participates with a full team and assists in tournament administration. Provincial Aerospace Ltd. provides two major draw awards and participates with a full team.
