Event Details

The Tournament has a team best-ball, low gross, and Texas scramble. The winning team will be presented with the Championship Shield at the luncheon. A plaque listing all the winning team's names and team members is permanetly located in the lobby of the Field House on the Memorial University Campus.

  • Teams of five golfers - 18 holes. Shotgun Start 7:30am.
  • A team best-ball, low gross, Texas scramble.
  • A three-course hot dinner with accompanying presentation of awards: 1:00pm in the Wilds banquet facilities. All aspects of the event completed by 2:30pm.
  • Each participant is provided with an attractive article of clothing to commemorate the event.
  • One complimentary electric golf cart and 15 golf balls per group.
  • Individual performance “fun” competitions - closest-to-the-hole (all par 3's), most accurate drive (hole #15), closest to the chicken (front and back 9 holes), hidden bunker, and putting “accuracy” (putting green) contests are included in the golf round.
  • A fantastic Memorial University tuition award is provided to any golfer scoring a hole-in-one on ANY hole …. standard tuition for two semesters. … No one has claimed this award in the 10 year history of the Tournament – 2008 could be the year!!!
  • All participants are eligible for one of a dozen great draw awards made at the luncheon/social.
  • Tournament Entries close when 30 teams (150 people) have registered
  • Cost: $1,000 per team, $200 per person.
