Giving to Memorial
Our alumni and friends prove year after year that they are not only
our greatest ambassadors, but also our greatest supporters.In the past year, thousands of alumni and friends contributed $5.8 million to the university with additional $1.4 million in outstanding pledges. That is an astonishing level of support. This kind of support allows us to sustain a large number of initiatives that improve the learning experience for all Memorial students.
One area, where our donors truly shine is their support for scholarships and bursaries. Memorial, as an institution, was created with a mandate to make post-secondary education available and accessible to as many students as possible. With the scholarship and bursary support from our alumni and friends we are able to help many students who would otherwise not be able to fulfill their aspirations and dreams.
