Alumni Spotlight - Lynn Taylor

Former Sea-Hawks women’s volleyball player Lynn Taylor has returned to campus as Memorial’s new co-ordinator of varsity athletics.

Former Sea-Hawks women’s volleyball player Lynn Taylor has returned to campus as Memorial’s new co-ordinator of varsity athletics, a position formerly held by Michelle Healey, who was recently named the university’s first athletic director.

Ms. Taylor majored in kinesiology at Memorial and was one of the school’s first to graduate with the co-operative degree.

A member of the women’s volleyball team from 1997-2001, Ms. Taylor was a member of the 1999-2000 Atlantic University Sport championship team.

After graduation, Ms. Taylor worked in rehabilitation and fitness before returning to pursue her master’s in business administration. Concentrating in marketing and communications, she graduated from Memorial in 2005 with her MBA. Before her appointment with varsity athletics, she worked with Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador as the membership and sales co-ordinator.
